When the Hubbies are away (dove hunt), the kids and Mom's will play. Em and I had the best time last Friday night. We had a last minute throw together slumber party at Grae's house. Before the slumber party we went to eat hamburgers with Sarah and the boys, and then went to the park to play with all the boys (Triston, Ty, Grae, Will). Of course bath time was necessary....and gave way to some super cute pictures.
The Moms (me, Alisha, Sarah) had some great late night conversations...but paid for that the next day! (smile, wink). Times like those are always times that I cherish for weeks after.
One of my favorite moments happened when I was sleeping by Emory on the floor. She woke up in the middle of the night and grabbed my hand to wrap around her and said, " Mommie, pat me." It was so sweet! I don't have many experiences sleeping with Em since she has always slept in her own bed, so when things like that happen it really melts my heart. Little Ty's alarm clock went off early, so Em and I switched to Grae's bed (since Grae got up early and got in Sarah's bed) and slept another hour...giving me a total of 3 hours.....needless to say, Em and I both took long naps that day!
Our slumber party included guest mice (ask Sarah), musical beds, and a few wet heads....but all in all was a great time!
