Happy Birthday Honey

My younger husband (only by 13 days) had a good birthday this year. We really wanted to let him know how special he is to us. So for dessert, we (Em and I) made his favorite.....lowfat banana pudding. Yes, thats right, I said lowfat. He claims to like it better because he feels like he can eat more and not make himself quite as sick as if it was "fully loaded". Too cute!

The second night it was in the fridge, he pulled it out to finish it off and his little helper joined in the fun. I couldn't help but take this funny pic!

I feel so blessed to have been able to celebrate another birthday with my sweet husband. I truly cannot imagine my life without him. I am so thankful for all the things God delivered me from in order to fulfill his ultimate plan of Jody and I coming together. Each year that passes I am reminded of how life feels like we are on fast forward all the time. I want to slow down and soak in all the good things.....I can only hope there will be many more birthdays celebrated together splitting banana pudding between the three of us!

Fossil Rim trip one and two

I am a little behind on some blogs I would like to write....so I will start with this one:

Last Novemeber we took Emory to Fossil Rim. We try to do something fun on Tate's death anniversary to help keep ourselves in good spirits. We had such a great time together. Emory thought she was so big getting to sit up front with us and help Daddy drive a little!

One cute story: The giraffes came around and ate the food out of our hands (which I now know they are not supposed to do). One of the giraffes found some food on our windshield wipers and starting eating it. Emory screamed out,"Don't eat our car"......that funny girl must have told that giraffe that same thing 20 times. It was too cute!

A few months later, our class from Church took our kids for a private tour. We had a great day!
